Membership

As a community band we welcome both experienced players and beginners and this is reflected in our current membership which includes players of all abilities. We generally field a band of around 25 players (brass and percussion) for our engagements.

Our rehearsals are Tuesday and Friday from 7.30 to 9.30pm at Cheylesmore Community Centre, Arundel Road, Coventry CV3 5JX. We have an interval at 8.30pm for refreshments and a chat. A contingent of the band also nip into the Festival pub (where else?!) after practices.

To be a member of the band, our subscriptions are £1 per week. The Band will provide new members with the use of a brass instrument if they do not have their own.
